Power of Parenting for a Better Future

POP have supported L.H by paying for tuition to enable a pass in functional maths. In Feb he passed the test, and sent us this email: “PoP has helped me to overcome the challenges that I had with Maths, I received some funding for tuition with Maths and it was really good and so helpful. I could not be anymore thankful. So a very big THANKYOU”. They are now planning to apply for an Access Course to start in September. Longer term plan is to apply to University in 2027. 

“R.W confidence has grown in Science and learning gaps have closed which has helped him to feel able to attend all his Science lessons. Previously he had not always had the confidence to do this. His grades have improved and he is now on target for Chemistry and Physics which is great! This has had a really positive impact on their confidence to go to the lesson and  their engagement with his learning when in class. Thank you very much for POP`S continued support with this funding”.

 "J.H, has his lap top now and for a young man who doesn’t always say very much, he was very grateful and showed me the applications he is making for apprenticeships and his current course work, which would have been virtually impossible for him to see on his phone".
